Special Education Teacher (Resource Room – K–6)
Location: Flint, MI
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Setting: Onsite Only

We’re seeking a committed Special Education Teacher to join a K–6 team in Flint, MI for the 2025–2026 school year. This role focuses on supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities in a resource room setting, providing targeted instruction and collaborating with school staff to meet IEP goals.

Position Highlights:

• Grade Levels: Kindergarten through 6th Grade

• Caseload: Approximately 30–35 students

• Service Model: Pull-out and push-in support based on student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver small group and individualized instruction in a resource room

• Write, implement, and monitor IEPs

• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff

• Track student progress and adjust strategies accordingly

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching License

• Experience in resource settings preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and behavior management skills
