Job Requirements:

• Active Minnesota Special Education teaching license

• Licensure in Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD) preferred, but open to candidates holding Tier 1–4 Special Education licensure

• Compliance with state and district fingerprinting and background checks

• Previous experience working with middle school students in a special education setting is a plus

Job Duties:

• Provide special education services to a caseload of 8–10 middle school students

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs

• Preferred Setting 3 EBD classroom, but open to candidates with experience in various special education settings

• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student growth

• Document progress, manage service records, and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines

• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development through differentiated instruction and behavior intervention strategies
