Special Education Teacher - Fort Jones, CA

What You'll Need:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience or passion for working with mild to moderate caseloads
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to support students with unique learning requirements
• Design and adapt curriculum to promote both academic and social-emotional growth
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a holistic approach
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
• Engage in continuous professional development to remain current with special education best practices
