Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential or ability to obtain one before start date
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field
• Previous experience working with students in mild to moderate settings is preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP process and progress monitoring
• Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional methods to meet diverse needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Commitment to fostering inclusion and supporting student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths and needs
• Provide engaging, differentiated instruction in small groups or one-on-one settings
• Monitor and document student progress, assessing learning outcomes and adjusting strategies as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including general educators and related service providers
• Communicate progress and insights with families, fostering positive partnerships
• Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance with all relevant laws and policies
