This full-time contract opportunity runs through May 2027 and offers two specialized positions at the high school level: Math Resource Teacher and Academic Vocational Life Skills Teacher.

In these positions, youll make a genuine difference by creating engaging and inclusive lesson plans, tailoring support for students with disabilities, and collaborating with other staff and families. The Math Resource Teacher role requires both Special Education and Math certifications, while the Academic Vocational Life Skills Teacher position requires Special Education and core content certifications. Successful candidates will demonstrate proven experience in their chosen area and highlight how their background supports individualized instruction and student success.

What you bring:

• Active Special Education Certification (required for both roles)
• Math certification required for Math Resource position
• Core content certification required for Life Skills position
• Demonstrated experience working in a special education classroom or with students with diverse learning needs
• Ability to develop and modify Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with families and multidisciplinary educational teams
• Passion for fostering independence, confidence, and achievement in students

Key responsibilities:

• Design and deliver specialized instruction in accordance with IEPs
• Support academic, social, and vocational development of students
• Utilize effective classroom management and positive behavior strategies
• Monitor and document student progress towards IEP objectives
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute professionally to team discussions
