Key Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education (required)
• Experience working in self-contained or resource classrooms preferred

• Collaborative mindset for working with students, families, and support staff

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to IEP goals of each student
• Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports learning and growth
• Conduct assessments and track student progress to inform instruction and reporting
• Coordinate with general education teachers and related service providers for inclusive educational experiences
• Facilitate IEP meetings and maintain up-to-date documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
