Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification, or eligibility for certification, in at least one U.S. state
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Prior experience working with students who have diverse learning needs
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to varying classroom environments and district protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and adapt curriculum according to students IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and school administrators to create inclusive learning experiences
• Manage classroom behavior, foster a positive environment, and support social-emotional development
• Complete progress monitoring and documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Engage in IEP meetings, communicate with families, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
