Special Ed Teacher Full-Time School-Based

Special Education Teacher (SPED) – School-Based | Blue Springs, MO

We are hiring two Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year in Blue Springs, MO. These are onsite, full-time positions working with a supportive K–12 team in a public school setting.

Position Overview:

• Start Date: August 11, 2025

• End Date: May 22, 2026

• Location: Blue Springs, MO

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35 hours per week

• Number of Positions: 2

• Caseload: K–12 (specific caseload assignments will be discussed during the interview)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

• Provide direct instruction to students with a range of disabilities

• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed

• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines

• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development

Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri Special Education Teaching Certification (or eligibility to obtain)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field

• Prior school-based experience strongly preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills

Compensation & Support:

• Competitive hourly pay: $37–$45/hour

• Weekly direct deposit

• Option for 1099 or W-2 employment
