• One Special Education Resource teaching role, serving students with a caseload of 25-30, requiring mild intervention certification.
• One Essential Skills Special Education teaching role, focusing on a smaller caseload of 10 students, requiring intense intervention certification.

Position highlights:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with daily hours from 8:20 AM to 3:10 PM (subject to room assignment adjustments).
• Indiana teaching license required, with appropriate certification in mild or intense interventions.
• Experience working with junior high or middle school populations and familiarity with IEP development and implementation highly desirable.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and adaptability skills to ensure individualized support and progress for each student.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs and monitor progress toward learning goals.
• Engage collaboratively with general educators, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt and modify curriculum materials, employing a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate actively in case conferences and team meetings.
