Special Education Teacher | Gridley, California

This onsite full-time role consists of 37.5 hours per week at a school setting near Gridley, focusing on students with diverse learning needs. Youll have a chance to guide students toward academic and personal growth while collaborating with dedicated professionals and leveraging resources from the district.

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teaching credential (California or eligibility for reciprocity)
• Bachelors degree or higher in Education, Special Education, or related field
• Recent classroom teaching experience in special education preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEPs, differentiated instruction, and special education compliance
• Ability to create inclusive, supportive classroom environments
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Collaborative, flexible approach to problem-solving and teamwork

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans tailored to students needs
• Conduct assessments and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Maintain detailed records and prepare compliant IEP documentation
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere and encourage student independence
• Communicate and coordinate with parents, support staff, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Support students social-emotional development, behavior interventions, and accommodations
