Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support for a caseload of 1518 students in a resource room (IRR) setting
• Collaborate effectively with general education staff to ensure student needs are met
• Lead the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain strong classroom management and create a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and communicate regularly with families and team members
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing student engagement and growth

Qualifications:

• Current, active Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification or equivalent general special education certification (proof required)
• Demonstrated experience in school-based special education, preferably at the middle school level
• Strong case management and IEP implementation background
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Dependable transportation for daily onsite attendance
• Full-time availability through May 26, 2027

This role is based onsite for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and offers a consistent schedule to foster lasting relationships with students and staff.
