This 12-week contract (ASAP start) requires on-site engagement, working Monday through Friday from 8:20 am to 3:10 pm. Youll take on a self-contained classroom with 815 students, primarily supporting students with Autism. This real-world experience will sharpen your expertise and provide meaningful adventures outside the classroom as well.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Illinois
• Experience teaching or working in a school setting preferred
• Passion for supporting students with special needs, especially Autism
• Willingness to work onsite throughout the contract period

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to self-contained students with Autism
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Maintain documentation and participate in required meetings
