Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching Licensure required.
• ASD endorsement strongly preferred for the Transition Center position.
• Previous experience in a school-based special education classroom is a strong asset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Adaptable and compassionate approach to supporting diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs according to individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Develop effective classroom strategies that foster academic achievement and personal development.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a positive learning experience.
• Monitor students progress and complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

Position Details:

• Full-time opportunities, including a .5 FTE role at the high school.
• Contract runs from the present start date through the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
