State and Federal Requirements:
Valid Texas Special Education EC–12 Certification.
Familiarity with IDEA, IEPs, and TEA standards.
Must pass required state background and fingerprint checks.
Job Description / Duties:
Provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement IEPs.
Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
Monitor student progress and maintain compliance documentation.
Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment focused on student growth.
