Caseload / Details:
- Caseload: Special Education Teacher - Middle School High Incident - Less than 20 students
- Full-Time (37.5 hrs/week)
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Provide specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to track student development.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom community.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in special education
- Kansas City certification/licensure in Special Education High Incidence
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
