Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 hours/week | Onsite Only

BlazerJobs is working with a Kansas City, KS area school district to hire 23 full-time Special Education Teachers for the upcoming school year. Openings are available across elementary and high school campuses, with a variety of caseloads and student needs.

Schedule by Level:

• Elementary: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• High School: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs

• Deliver specialized instruction based on individual student needs

• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families

• Maintain documentation and monitor progress toward IEP goals

Requirements:

• Active Kansas Special Education Teaching License

• Ability to work with students with varying disabilities and academic needs

• Must be comfortable working onsite full-time

• Strong classroom management and communication skills
