Now Hiring Special Education Teachers (SPED) – New School Year | Kansas City, MO

Position Details:

• Location: Kansas City, MO

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

• Caseload: Varies (elementary, middle, and high school openings available)

• Contract: 2025–2026 school year with renewal potential

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Provide specialized instruction based on students’ unique learning needs

• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and service providers

• Track and report student progress toward academic and behavioral goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

• Valid Missouri Special Education Teaching Certification

• Experience with IEPs and compliance preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
