Job Overview:

• Title: Special Education Teacher (Travel Contract)

• Location: Kansas City, MO 

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, school hours

• Compensation: $1,500–$1,900/week

• Duration: Full academic year with potential for renewal

• Employment Type: W-2 with full benefits

Your Role:

• Deliver differentiated instruction to students with exceptional needs

• Collaborate with school staff and families to implement effective IEPs

• Maintain compliance and documentation as required by Missouri DESE

• Use inclusive practices to support student independence and engagement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education (Master's preferred)

• Missouri Special Education Certification

• Prior school experience preferred

• Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills
