Travel SPED Teacher Opportunity – Kansas City, MO
Contract Dates: August 1, 2025 – May 22, 2026 (Full School Year)
Student Caseload: Elementary | Middle School  | self-contained classroom or work in Resource room
Compensation: Equivalent to $50/hour including hourly pay + travel & relocation stipends

What You’ll Do: 

• Provide specialized instruction in alignment with students’ IEP goals

• Assess student abilities and learning needs using formal and informal tools

• Develop and implement effective IEPs

• Collaborate with families, service providers, and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain compliant and accurate documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education 

• Experience Teaching Students with Special Needs (preferred)

• Active Special Education Teaching License in the required state
