Special Education Teacher Job Available

Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract position in Lancaster, SC for the upcoming 25-26 school year. This is a school-based role aimed at providing support and tailored educational services to students with diverse learning needs.

Requirements:

• Must meet all state and local certification and licensure requirements for Special Education in South Carolina

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field

• Valid South Carolina teaching license with the appropriate Special Education endorsement

• Experience working with special education students and collaborating with families is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with a variety of disabilities

• Provide direct instruction and support in individual or small group settings

• Monitor and assess student progress toward IEP goals and adjust instruction as needed

• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school administrators

• Maintain accurate student records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and educational goals

• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide initiatives
