We’re currently hiring a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher to join a student-centered team in the Land O' Lakes, FL area. This is a contract opportunity serving a local school district, with support provided throughout your assignment to help you thrive.

The Role

As a Special Education Teacher, you will:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs

• Foster a supportive learning environment with patience and creativity

• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff

• Track student progress and modify plans as needed to support growth

• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding goals and outcomes

Florida Certification Requirements

To be eligible for this position, candidates must:

• Hold a valid Florida Department of Education teaching certificate in Exceptional Student Education (ESE)

• Be eligible for employment in the U.S.

• Pass background and fingerprinting requirements per Florida district guidelines
