 Full-Time Middle School Special Education Teacher

BlazerJobs is actively seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our partner school district in Lawrence, Kansas for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. These are full-time positions at the middle school level, with strong district support and an inclusive teaching environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with a variety of learning needs in a middle school setting

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs 

• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff

• Maintain compliance with state and federal SPED regulations

• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field

• Valid Kansas teaching license with a Special Education endorsement

• Previous experience working with middle school students preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
