Special Education Teacher - Lees Summit, Missouri

Qualifications:

• Valid state teaching credential in Special Education
• Experience implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom and behavior management skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students with special needs in a classroom setting
• Develop and modify lesson plans to address individual student goals
• Manage multiple caseloads, ensuring compliance with IEP requirements

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
• Track and document educational outcomes and behavioral data
