Full-Time Special Education Teacher – Little Falls, MN

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for full-time opportunities with school districts in the Little Falls, MN area. We are looking for committed educators who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs.

Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching License with a Special Education endorsement (e.g., EBD, SLD, ASD, DCD, or ABS)

• Completion of a state-approved teacher preparation program in Special Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field

• Compliance with fingerprinting and background check requirements through the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE)

• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance standards

• Previous experience in a special education setting is preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs

• Provide direct instruction and behavioral support to students with disabilities

• Modify curriculum and instructional methods to accommodate diverse learning styles

• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success

• Monitor and report on student progress and make instructional adjustments as needed

• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives
