Special Education Teacher - Luling, LA

This full-time role spans from ASAP through late May 2027 and is based onsite at a local elementary school near Luling, LA. Key Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Educator Certificate required (SPED Educator Certificate preferred, but Elementary 1-5 Certificate considered)
• Experience working with elementary-level students in special education settings
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Ability to create and implement individualized learning plans
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach and support a self-contained special education classroom for elementary students
• Develop, adapt, and deliver instructional material tailored to individual student needs and IEPs
• Assess and monitor progress, adjusting approaches as necessary to maximize student potential
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and families to foster a positive educational experience
• Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance with district and state policies
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities as assigned
