Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
  • Experience in elementary and/or middle school special education preferred
  • Skills supporting students with behavioral and physical care needs (including toileting, feeding tubes)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction and support in an elementary structured support room (6 students) and a middle school co-taught classroom (11 students)
  • Provide individualized and group interventions based on student needs
  • Assist with toileting; coordinate with support staff for physical care routines
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, behavior technicians, and other educators to foster a supportive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and foster positive relationships with students and families
