Details:
- Location: Marysville, CA
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Par Rate: Starting at $50+ per hour
- Caseload: To be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Applicants must meet all state and local requirements, including:
- Hold a valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate Support Needs or Moderate/Severe Support Needs).
- Completion of an approved Special Education Teacher Preparation Program.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Pass CBEST and any applicable CSET exams.
- Hold or be eligible for a CLAD certificate or equivalent English Learner authorization.
- Must clear fingerprinting/background check and TB testing per California regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' specific needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student progress
- Deliver differentiated instruction and classroom modifications as outlined in students' IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all IDEA and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and ongoing professional development
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student success
