Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and qualified Special Education Teachers for full-time roles with school districts in the Thomasville, NC area for the 2025–2026 school year. Location: McKeesport, PA
Schedule: Part Time
Contract Term: 2025–2026 School Year

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered, applicants must meet the following state and local certification/licensure requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited institution

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching license with a Special Education endorsement

• Completion of student teaching or required internship/clinical experience

• Background check and fingerprint clearance per Pennsylvania Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) guidelines

• Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide direct instruction and support in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student learning and development

• Conduct academic and behavioral assessments as necessary

• Maintain compliance with state and district policies, including timely IEP documentation and reporting

• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and multi-disciplinary team planning
