Onsite Special Education Teacher – Brooklyn Center, MN

We are seeking a Special Education Teacher for an onsite position at an elementary school in Brooklyn Center, MN for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year.

Position Details:

• Location: Brooklyn Center, MN (Elementary Level)

• Start Date: April 7, 2025

• End Date: June 6, 2025

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

• Hours: 8:35 AM – 4:15 PM (37.5 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs

• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff

• Conduct assessments and track student progress

• Maintain compliance with federal and state special education regulations

Requirements:

• Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License

• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred

• Strong classroom management and instructional skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
