• Full-time positions at RiverEast Day School and Highland Park Middle School, each managing approximately 20 students and benefitting from strong paraeducator and behavioral aide support.
• Two part-time roles: One based at Highland Park Elementary, another with flexible days and location to be announced.
• Potential position in early childhood special education, which includes unique opportunities for home visits to support families in their learning environment.

Desired qualifications:

• Current and active Minnesota teaching license in special education.
• Experience working with students with a range of learning differences and/or behavioral needs.
• Ability to collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and classroom aides.
• Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families.
• For the early education role, prior experience with home visits or working with very young children is highly valued.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with varying special education needs.
• Develop and monitor IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere, utilizing para and behavioral aide assistance as needed.
• Maintain open communication with families to encourage continuous student growth.
• For early childhood, conduct at-home visits to support developmental goals and family engagement.

Contract lengths run from start date through June 11, 2027, offering the stability youre looking for with flexibility in hours based on role.
