Special Education Teacher in Minneapolis, MN

Preferred candidates are experienced with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and hold a tier 2 teaching credential. You must have an active Special Education licensePELSB/MDE certification is required prior to the assignment.

Qualifications:

• Current, valid Special Education licensure (PELSB/MDE) required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students with disabilities
• Preference for those with a background in ASD or related teaching environments
• Tier 2 teaching credential
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt and respond to the needs of a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and deliver individualized instruction to students on your caseload
• Collaborate with Paras, Interveners, and other professionals to support student IEP goals
• Develop and implement lesson plans and interventions tailored to individual student needs
• Maintain updated and accurate documentation for student progress and compliance
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and supportive classroom environment
