Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid and active Minnesota teaching licenserequired for consideration.
• Experience teaching special education in K-12 settings highly preferred.
• Confidence creating and adapting individual education plans (IEPs).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and student advocacy skills.
• Capacity to collaborate with related service providers, families, and administration.
• Ability to manage and support therapeutic interventions as needed.

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and support to students with disabilities in alignment with their IEPs.
• Develop, document, and update IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, paraprofessionals, and related therapists to create the best learning environment possible.
• Provide behavioral and classroom management.
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and training sessions.
• Adjust instructional strategies and materials to meet diverse learning profiles.
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where all students feel valued.
