Special Education Teacher - Minturn, CO

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching License (submit a copy with your application)
• Experience teaching, supporting, or advocating for students with significant needs, preferably at the middle school level
• Expertise in developing and implementing individualized learning plans

• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment for every student

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and support to a caseload of five students with significant support needs
• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs
• Engage in regular communication with families to build strong partnerships
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom atmosphere
