Seeking Bilingual SPED Teacher

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a full-time bilingual Special Education Teacher for a school district in Blue Island, IL for the 2025–2026 school year. We’re looking for a passionate educator who is fluent in both English and Spanish and holds a Cross Categorical certification to support a diverse student population.

Job Description:

• Full-time, onsite position for the entire 2025–2026 school year

• Provide specialized instruction to students with varied disabilities across grade levels

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff

• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth in both English and Spanish

Requirements:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Cross Categorical Special Education Endorsement

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required

• Prior school-based experience strongly preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
