Key Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut Special Education Teacher License required, along with any additional relevant certifications
• Experience with CT-SEDS system is a plus
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families

Role Overview:

• Provide specialized instruction and adapt curriculum to meet student needs
• Manage IEP documentation and support student progress toward educational goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to develop strategies for student success
• Engage families and caregivers as partners in each students educational journey
• Uphold all district, state, and federal regulations governing special education
