• Current and active Indiana teaching license in Special Education (please be prepared to provide a screenshot as verification).
• Demonstrated experience working with students with mild disabilities, ideally at the middle school level.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with staff, students, and families.
• Flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic school setting.
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive learning environment that highlights each childs unique strengths.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional direct instruction in a self-contained classroom environment.
• Adapt and implement IEPs, monitor students progress, and participate in case conferences as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure successful inclusive practices.
• Create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learners needs.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom culture that encourages student independence and growth.
