This contract opportunity enables you to work in a supportive educational environment, focusing on both self-contained and resource classroom settings. The position is full-time, running from now through June 4, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:15am to 3:15pm.

Youll support a self-contained, non-severe caseload at the middle school level as well as resource teaching for elementary (grades K-5), creating a positive academic experience for learners with unique abilities.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience supporting students in self-contained and resource settings preferred
• Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt curriculum to diverse learning needs
• Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Collaborative spirit and adaptability in dynamic school environments
• Dedication to fostering inclusion and student success

Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction to students in both self-contained and resource classrooms
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs and goals
• Track and document student progress, communicating regularly with stakeholders
• Modify teaching strategies and instructional materials to accommodate various learning styles
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff
