Special Education Teacher (Contracted Position)

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team and make a lasting impact in the lives of students with diverse learning needs. In this role, you will create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), adapt lessons to support different learning styles, and foster an inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.

2025 - 2026 School Year
Pay Range: $32 - $48 per hour

Caseload:

  • Elementary, Middle School, and High School Caseloads
  • Inclusion, Self Contained, and Resource Classrooms
  • Full Time, up to 40 hours a week 
Caseload details will be discussed during the interview process. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Provide differentiated instruction and specialized support for students with disabilities.
  • Adapt and modify curriculum to ensure accessibility and engagement.
  • Conduct assessments and track student progress towards IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student success.
  • Caseload details will be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
  • Valid state teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
  • Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings preferred
