Special Education Teacher in Osseo, MN

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience supporting students with autism spectrum disorders or developmental delays strongly preferred
• Ability to create individualized learning plans and adapt curriculum to student needs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
• Strong problem-solving skills and a confident, compassionate approach to classroom management

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction for elementary-age students within the Ready, Set, Launch program
• Develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and adjust supports as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Utilize evidence-based intervention strategies and assistive technology as appropriate
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
