Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Demonstrated experience with high-needs populations, particularly Setting 4 or similar environments
• Strong behavioral management strategies and a compassionate, student-centered approach
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external partners
• Skilled in adapting lesson plans to meet diverse learning styles and needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to students with severe disabilities and significant behavioral needs
• Employ evidence-based interventions and positive behavioral supports
• Assess, progress monitor, and document student goals and outcomes
• Collaborate with related service providers and participate actively in IEP meetings
• Support students social-emotional growth alongside academic progress
• Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment for all learners
