  • Start Date: Immediately
  • Duration: Through August 4 2025  
  • Days: Monday to Friday  
  • Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm through June 17, 2025; 8:30 am – 1:30 pm from June 30 to August 4
  • note that school is closed June 18 through June 27 and on July 4
  • Location: Onsite (Northwest Philly)

    Major Responsibilities

  • Provides a continuum of direct and indirect services to students including individual, group, and classroom-based services; parent and staff consultation; and case management
  • Assesses risk of harm to self and others and facilitates access to emergency services
  • Assists students and families in accessing community resources
  • Facilitates interagency communication with community-based mental health providers
  • Contributes to students’ IEPs including writing present levels, goals, and progress reports
  • Submits all clinical and educational documentation in a timely manner

    Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Social Work (or similar field) from an accredited institution
  • PA licensure required (as a social worker, clinical social worker, or professional counselor)
  • PDE certification preferred (as a school social worker or school counselor)
  • Experience with students with autism and emotional disturbance preferred
  • Experience with culturally diverse populations preferred
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations, including child welfare and special education
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, projects and assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to write and complete routine clinical documentation efficiently and coherently
  • Current Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances
