Special Education Teachers Needed Across Pennsylvania for the 2025–2026 School Year – Partner with Blazer Jobs

Overview of the Role
As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing individualized instructional plans, supporting students in meeting IEP goals, and collaborating with teams to ensure that students with disabilities have access to a meaningful education. Your work will directly support students' academic, social, and emotional development.

Positions are currently available in school districts across the state, including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Allentown, Harrisburg, Reading, Erie, Scranton, and other surrounding communities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver specially designed instruction based on students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Support students in inclusive, resource, or self-contained classrooms

• Track progress and update IEP documentation regularly

• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families

• Participate in IEP team meetings and reevaluation processes

• Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) regulations and IDEA requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)

• Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Certificate in Special Education (PreK–8, 7–12, or equivalent)

• Understanding of IEP development, accommodations, and instructional differentiation

• School-based experience is preferred but not required

• Must complete Pennsylvania background clearances and fingerprinting

Position Structure

• Full-time and part-time openings available throughout Pennsylvania

• Contract term: August 2025 through June 2026

• W-2 employment through Blazer Jobs
