Blazer Jobs is partnering with school districts across Pennsylvania to recruit dedicated Special Education Teachers and Specialists for the 2025–2026 academic year. Position Overview

As a special education professional in Pennsylvania schools, you will design and implement individualized instructional plans tailored to students with disabilities. You’ll collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to create inclusive learning environments that foster student growth and independence.

We have openings throughout the state, including districts in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Allentown, Erie, Reading, Scranton, Harrisburg, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with Pennsylvania’s special education guidelines

• Provide direct instruction and support in both general and special education settings

• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet evolving needs

• Collaborate with families, counselors, and related service providers to support student success

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and evaluation processes

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) standards

• Ensure adherence to IDEA and Pennsylvania state special education regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education

• Experience working with students with disabilities in school settings preferred

• Strong understanding of state and federal special education laws and procedures

• Ability to pass all required Pennsylvania background checks and clearances

Job Details:

• Positions available for full-time and part-time employment

• Contract duration: August 2025 through June 2026

• W-2 employment via Blazer Jobs
