Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for experienced Special Education Teachers to fill a full-time position with partner school districts in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Requirements:

Applicants must meet all state and local requirements for Special Education Teachers in Arizona, including:

• A valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate

• An active IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety

• A Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

• Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting preferred

• Strong knowledge of IEP development, instructional strategies, and behavioral support

Responsibilities May Include:

• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse needs

• Adapting curriculum and teaching strategies to meet each student's unique goals

• Collaborating with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff

• Communicating with families regarding student progress and support strategies

• Maintaining accurate records and compliance with district and state regulations

• Participating in IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities
