Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers (SPED) for a full-time role with partner school districts in the Phoenix, AZ area. We are seeking dedicated educators who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them achieve academic success in a structured, inclusive environment.
Position Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Arizona state and local requirements, including:
Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate with a Special Education endorsement (such as Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Disabilities)
Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
Authorization to work in the United States
School-based experience preferred but not required
Typical Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Deliver instruction in both resource and inclusive classroom settings
Modify curriculum to meet the needs of students with disabilities
Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and parents
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with IEP goals and timelines
Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning
