About the Role: Special Education Teacher

We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers with licensure from their Department of Education who are ready to embrace diverse assignments. You'll be working directly with students across a spectrum of needs, from mild to severely profound, within various classroom types, including resource rooms, self-contained, and inclusion settings.

General Duties Include:

  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Adapting curriculum and employing diverse instructional strategies.
  • Providing direct and indirect support to students in academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborating effectively with general education teachers, parents, and support staff.
  • Monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in team meetings.

  • W2 Contract: This is a W2 contract position, offering hourly pay and access to comprehensive benefits (if needed).
  • Licensure: You must be willing to obtain licensure in the state where you'll be working and maintain your license in your home state.
