SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER

Blazer Works is partnering with a local school district to hire a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. The ideal candidate will meet the qualifications outlined below.
The selected candidate will serve as a contract worker. All aspects of pay, benefits, and human resources claims will be managed by Blazer Works.
Full-Time Employee Benefits:
Contract workers are only required to work contracted hours. They will not be asked to participate in morning/afternoon duty, stay late for Parent Teacher Conferences, attend professional development days, or any other functions unless explicitly stated in the contract.
Candidate Qualifications:
Information regarding specific certification and licensing requirements for educators in Illinois can be found on the Department of Education website.
Bachelor’s in Special Education or a degree specific to teaching students with special needs.
Illinois Professional Educators License.
Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.

Early Childhood Teacher - 3-4 Year Old Classroom
Job Responsibilities:
Further details on job specifics will be provided during the interview process.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of educational pedagogy.
Develop engaging lessons that align with state standards to ensure all students can access the curriculum.
Provide differentiated instruction to meet the individual strengths and needs of students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Monitor and report progress toward current IEP goals, collaborating with service providers to identify areas of focus.
Foster positive relationships with parents, administrators, grade-level teams, and service providers, creating a collaborative environment that prioritizes student growth.
Interview Process:
Applicants will go through a preliminary prescreening process with recruiters at Blazer Works to verify that qualifications are met.
Applicants will be interviewed by the school or district department lead in a 30-minute Zoom call.
The school/district may request a second interview on campus.
If selected, Blazer Works will offer the position and initiate the onboarding process in collaboration with the school/district.
