Special Education Teacher in Ringgold, GA

Step into a meaningful, full-time contract opportunity supporting high school students in a self-contained special education classroom setting. This role is based close to Ringgold, GA and focuses on delivering a functional curriculum to students with varied abilities. With two dedicated paraprofessionals and a Registered Behavior Technician in the classroom, you'll collaborate in a well-supported environment that values teamwork and growth. Your key qualifications:

• Current SPED certification from GaPSC with content coverage through 8th grade
• Adapted Curriculum Endorsement required
• District open to candidates with pending credentials
• Experience or strong interest in working with lower-functioning or self-contained student populations
• Commitment to a full-time schedule (37.5 40 hours per week)
• Ability to work collaboratively with classroom support staff and specialists
