Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Previous experience working with students in special education programs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized instructional plans for students with varying abilities
• Develop, write, and maintain IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families to ensure student needs are being met
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
