Adapted Physical Education (APE) Teacher - Romeoville, IL | 25/26 School Year

Our partner schools near Romeoville, IL is looking to find a full-time Adaptive P.E. (APE) Teacher for the current school year to support our Special Education students. We are looking for knowledgeable and compassionate candidate to join our team for the full school year!
 

Position Details:

• 2025 - 2026 School Year
• Full-Time: up to 40 hours per week 
• Pay Rate: $30 - $50 per hour, depending on previous experience
• Caseload: Elementary, additional details will be discussed and provided during the interview process
• Adapt physical education curriculum to meet the needs of students with varying disabilities.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
• Provide direct instruction in fitness, health, and wellness tailored to the abilities of each student.

Requirements:

• Must have an active APE certification
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, or related field
• Previous experience preferred, but not required
